Flavorful Pickled Chicken Wings
Hello dear readers! Today I have a delicious recipe for you: Pickled Chicken Wings! If you're someone who only leaves pickle juice in the jars, this recipe will change your mind. The acidic nature of pickle juice makes your chicken tender, and when combined with spices, it creates a wonderful flavor. Let's embark on this flavorful journey together!
- 900 grams chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
- 1.5 cups dill pickle juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Place your chicken wings in a bag. You can use a mix of flats and drumettes; both turn out great.
Add 1.5 cups of pickle juice and marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
Prepare your spice mix: combine cornstarch, black pepper, paprika, salt, and garlic powder.
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Remove the wings from the refrigerator and drain the liquid, patting off excess with paper towels.
Place the wings in a bowl, add olive oil, and mix. Sprinkle the prepared spice mix over them and mix to coat well.
Arrange the wings skin-side down on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven when golden brown.
