No Fail: Gluten-Free Crepe Recipe
Hello dear crepe lovers! How about having some fun in the kitchen today? You'll be surprised at how easy it is to make gluten-free crepes. Whether you make them sweet or savory, this recipe is just for you! Let's roll up our sleeves and enjoy the kitchen.
- 1 cup gluten-free flour (I used Bob's Red Mill 1-to-1 Gluten-Free Flour)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled (or oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla extract
First, combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth. Don't forget to let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes, this is an important step.
Heat a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Lightly grease the pan with cooking spray.
Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan and tilt the pan to spread it into a thin layer.
Cook the crepe for 1-2 minutes, then gently flip to the other side and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remember to grease the pan between each crepe.
Carefully transfer the cooked crepes to a plate. Rolling them in the pan and transferring to the plate is also a great presentation!
Add your desired toppings. You can achieve a great taste with whipped cream, fruits, or Nutella. Enjoy!
