- 1 whole chicken
- 1 large onion
- 2 carrots
- 2 celery stalks
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6-8 cups of water
First, wash and clean the chicken thoroughly, removing excess fat.
