Star of the Kitchen: Banana Milkshake
Hello dear readers! Today we will make a wonderful banana milkshake to cool off on hot summer days. Moreover, this recipe is vegan-friendly and contains no added sugar. If you're ready, let's head to the kitchen and prepare this velvety delight together. Let's get started!
- 4 medium ripe bananas (frozen)
- 1 1/4 cups non-dairy milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or your preferred walnut/hazelnut butter)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Melted peanut butter and non-dairy chocolate for drizzling (optional)
First, peel 4 ripe bananas and slice them into 2-3 cm thick pieces. The peeled bananas should weigh about 300 grams. Place them in a container or a freezer bag and freeze until solid, about 45-60 minutes.
Add the frozen bananas, non-dairy milk, peanut butter, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Hopefully, your kitchen will be filled with wonderful aromas at this stage!
You can decorate the inside of your glasses with some melted peanut butter and non-dairy chocolate. This step is completely optional, but it looks very elegant. Pour the milkshake into glasses and optionally garnish with non-dairy whipped cream. Enjoy!
